Meet your hosts…
Tara Lynn Hubbard
A certified yoga teacher and rescue diver - combining her love of yoga & the sea into one beautiful experience for YOU.
Tara studied yoga in India in 2016 and received her teacher training in the Hatha style of yoga. Her classes are often said to be more of a “moving meditation”. She has offered community yoga classes and retreats worldwide, and has an immense passion for cultivating the ‘retreat’ experience in everyday life.
As a certified rescue diver, Tara feels exceptionally comfortable in the water. She will be offering some breathing (pranayama) and basic freediving instruction during the retreat - to help you connect with the breath and the sea!
Silvester is an avid student of literature, philosophy, history and psychology. After encountering profound, life changing experiences while meditating at an early age, he has been on a journey of self-understanding and critical analysis. A fan of the Socratic method, he believes that dialogue among peers is critical for growth and personal development; by discussing allegories based in classic literature, the beauty of prose, and distilling esoteric concepts into digestible chunks — he encourages others to analyze and interact with life on an intimate level.
Silvester leads a series of “Tangential Meditations” in St. Pete, FL where he combines mindfulness meditation, philosophy and insightful journaling prompts.
